Not everyone is suited to traditional education settings. As a headteacher, I realised this from very early on in my career and always sought to find alternative provision if this suited the learner. At times this resulted in home tuition. We are all parents but not all teachers. Sometimes we need someone to support in providing what is best for our children. At SHEDucation we can cover all options, providing bespoke opportunities for every individual. Although our work is predominantly based on the environment and green skills, our education background allows curriculum areas to be covered alongside these. For example, creating a bird box from a single plank of timber requires problem solving, measuring, angles and accuracy; all mathematical skills from real life not text books.

Home schooling support can be individual, family or support groups based. Each situation is approached in a bespoke manner.
