Environmental Consultation
The new government Sustainability Strategy is a further addition to the workload of an already stretched SLT. The key pillars of Excellence in Education, Net Zero Carbon, Climate Resilience and Biodiversity Enhancement are all crucial to the future of our planet. However, schools are already working at 110% and this is additional work. Let us take the strain for a fraction of the wellbeing cost to a member of your already stretched staff.
Working alongside Sustainability Lead
Every school now needs to have a nominated Sustainability Lead. No school has additional funds for this role so it will always be an extra role for someone. We can support this role to varying extents providing environmental expertise and education background savvy to the developing role.
Writing Climate Action Plans
Working alongside the Sustainability Lead or independantly, we can create the required Climate Action Plan with clear SMART targets. We can also support completing these actions to ensure everything is done in a timely fashion.
Completing energy audits
Working alongside the Business Manager/Sustainability Lead we can complete the audits and provide ideas to add to the Climate Action Plan. We can ensure that the statuatory tasks are completed for the benefit of the the school and the environment.
