Funding Support
Nothing comes for free. We all know this and the education sector is being squeezed just as hard as every other area of society. At SHEDucation, we have a unique way of working. If you have the funding to employ us, fantastic, we can start tomorrow. If you don't have the funding then we can help you look for funding streams and support your application for grants and external funds. Should these applications be successful then we will charge for the time taken to make the application and then do the work. We will only do the work that your organisation can afford us to do.
External Grants
Many organisations provide grants for small scale projects or larger scale changes. These can be accessed via an expression of interest (EOI) or through direct application. Recently we have supported a school in gaining £5000 from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Local Councillors
Local councillors have locality budgets which they can use at their discretion to support local projects. Recently we have gained £1650 for a school in Ipswich from the local councillors.
Business Links
Local businesses are often willing to support school and community projects. This can either be through cash or materials. Many businesses comment that they just need to be asked. We have the time to write the letters and make the calls.
